I'll still pop in the mod once in a while, but I hope it works out, and it had that unique charm that other Victoria 2 mods don't have. Controversy in mod: I lost track on this, but this mod had its ups (really ambitious, good work on doing pops, and a somewhat operational World War 2 scenario), and downs (switches with mod team, weird events (the Japanese event where a Crimean prosecutor Natalya Poklonskaya and rose to Internet fame in 2014, and spammed a few times for 10 prestige, ambitious mod (doing +400 years with a mod while vanilla Vic2 can work well with doing 85-100 years without breaking anything).Sometimes there's too many pop types in the wrong time (space colonists in pre-2000s?). Once again, I won't blame the mod team for the pre-1836 pop layout (that requires a lot of research, almost be same as how Vic2's pops were researched and put in). Pops: It handled the pops really well! (World War 2, and the Modern Era has close to exact pops, the nearest that I've seen with Victoria 2 so far). Also, like some modern era mods, it can be a big hassle to fulfill pop needs/demands, as your militancy and consciousness won't go down.

1600s and 1700s had a bit of a issue with pop conversions in the early mod builds (there were too many Space colonists around this time). Victoria 2 can handle the 1800s pretty well, but anything past the 1920s can be a hassle (yes even the very late game can struggle with pop demands for goods).
